During the months of May and June, volunteer employees from SSA Marine Mexico and the private assistance organization Vía Esperanza carried out four food donation events for family members accompanying hospitalized patients at Manzanillo Civil Hospital. As part of a joint effort to support individuals facing difficult circumstances, SSA Marine Mexico, in collaboration with Vía Esperanza, organized food distribution initiatives aimed at relatives of patients who often face challenges accessing meals while spending extended periods caring for their loved ones in the hospital. Approximately 200 people benefited from these activities, receiving not only nutritious meals but also meaningful displays of solidarity and compassion from 35 young volunteers. During the final event, Vía Esperanza also donated toys to children accompanying family members outside the hospital, creating a special moment for families during a difficult time. These initiatives highlight the importance of collaboration between the private sector and social organizations, demonstrating how joint efforts can generate a positive impact within the community and contribute to improving people's well-being. SSA Marine Mexico and Vía Esperanza will continue participating in activities that promote community support and strengthen the social fabric of Manzanillo.
