We’re launching the "Ingenia el Futuro" contest!

The University of Colima, through the Faculty of Electromechanical Engineering (FIE), in collaboration with SSA Marine Mexico, is launching the first edition of the "Ingenia el Futuro" contest, aimed at promoting creativity and the development of innovative solutions to real-world challenges. This call is open to high school students in Manzanillo, Colima, who are invited to develop proposals that generate a positive impact in the community within the following categories: - Renewable energy and sustainability, - Automation and robotics, - Mobility innovations, - Technology to improve quality of life. Proposals will be evaluated by a panel of judges made up of FIE faculty members and SSA Marine Mexico specialists. Top-ranking teams will have the chance to win scholarships to the University of Colima, tablets, and more. Key dates: - Registration deadline: April 12, - Project submission: May 15, - Evaluation period: May 19–29, - Final presentation and awards ceremony: May 30, at the Faculty of Electromechanical Engineering.
